一 主裏安睡，何等有福！
此睡，無人醒來哭泣；
脫離紛擾，進入安舒，
仇敵權勢無法攻擊。
二 主裏安睡，何等甘甜！
此睡，無人仍帶苦憂；
信心堅定，唱出美言﹕
死亡已失它的毒鈎。
三 主裏安睡，何等安息！
醒來，就是福氣無極；
無懼、無苦再能掩蔽
救主所要彰顯能力。
四 主裏安睡，何等安穩！
此避難所安全可靠；
我的塵土安靜在等
主自高天向我呼召。
五 主裏安睡，暫時別離，
醒後相聚，倍加欣喜；
主裏安睡，福樂無比！
此睡，無人醒來哭泣。

To be for such a slumber meet;
With holy confidence to sing

May such a blissful refuge be!
Securely shall my ashes lie,

Thy kindred and their graves may be;
But there is still a blessed sleep,
