一 祂不能救自己，必須死髑髏地；
不然，恩典無門，來救荒涼罪人：
真的，神兒子當流血，
罪人纔能洗得清潔，

二 祂不能救自己，必須成全公義；
我罪當有刑罰，需要祂來被殺：
律法非此不算還債，
非此，罪惡不能寬貸，
非此，罪惡不能寬貸。
三 祂不能救自己，因為祂是代替
信祂的人站立，在罪人的死地；
祂在十字架上流血，
擔當信徒一切罪孽，
擔當信徒一切罪孽。
四 祂不能救自己，這愛怎麼樣呢！
祂不能救自己，這愛那有止極！
我們的心雖然冷淡，
這愛叫它發出感讚，
