但不認識祂的大愛;

他們不久也要看見祂臉面,認識祂的榮耀光明;

二 我們快要完全知道我們主,已往從未如此知道;

三 天上雖有無比榮耀的冠冕,但無十架可以順從;

就無孤單、寂寞、離別;

那是實在好得無比;

求祢憐憫,使我充滿祢大愛,不顧一切為祢生活;

His Angels His Countenance  Always Behold

1. His angels His countenance always behold,

But never experience His grace,

While saints on the earth know His love that enfolds,

Yet never have looked on His face.

They soon shall arise in His presence with awe,

The sight of His glory to gain.

But Mary, one day, in His tear-stained eyes saw

His heartbreak of anguish and pain,

His heartbreak of anguish and pain.

2. We want to know Jesus, our Lord,

To know Him as never before.

In heaven there's no need for a hand such as His

To heal a heart broken and sore.

Above where we offer Him praise without end,

No praying with tears needed there;

Nor ever a burden to roll on our Friend,

Or place for importunate prayer,

Or place for importunate prayer.

3. In heavenly glory we'll wear a bright crown,

And never more carry a cross.

It's only on earth where His life was disowned,

We share His rejection and loss.

Ent'ring into rest; in the morning so fair,

Our anguish and trials will end.

His sorrow and shame we no more with Him share,

Or sacrifice pleasures for Him,

Or sacrifice pleasures for Him.

4. Alas, we're now left with few chances to share,

To learn and to taste of His grief,

Still yet for His sake, man's reproaches to bear,

Such time we may never retrieve.

These sorrows and pain, shall we still here bemoan,

When they will soon no longer be.

I treasure now Lord, all the pain I have known,

For through it I'm made one with Thee,

For through it I'm made one with Thee.

5. I long, Lord, to look on Thy wonderful face,

'Twould surely be better by far.

But rather I choose now Thy suffering grace.

Than have our sweet fellowship marred.

Have mercy, dear Lord, fill me full of Thy love,

My life shall be wholly for Thee.

Lest longing for joy in a heaven above,

I fail here to suffer with Thee,

I fail here to suffer with Thee.
