一 每日早晨愛都新鮮，再顯在我重新回醒；
使我平安度過睡眠，復有思想、能力、生命。
二 每個新日有新憐憫，當我禱告都在四圍：
新的赦免，新的親近，對神新知，對天新窺。
三 如果我的每日道路，定規都要分別為聖；
無價之寶，新的事物，神正豫備作我祭牲。
四 舊人，舊地都更可愛，如果彼此都更思家；
今日求賜軟化忍耐，顯在每一個十字架。
五 簡單工作，平常人地，都會成為禱告張本；
都是機會可以捨己，使我每日更親我神。
六 但主，求祢因祢的愛，準備我心為著來朝；
叫我今天，每天，都該生活更像我的禱告。

Our wak'ning and uprising prove;
Thro' sleep and darkness safely brought,
Restored to life, and pow'r, and thought.
2. New mercies, each returning day,
Hover around us while we pray;
New perils past, new sins forgiv'n,
New thoughts of God, new hopes of heav'n.
3. If, on our daily course, our mind
Be set to hallow all we find,
New treasures still of countless price
God will provide for sacrifice.
4. Old friends, old scenes will lovelier be,
As more of heav'n in each we see;
Some soft'ning gleam of love and prayer
Shall dawn on every cross and care.
5. The trivial round, the common task,
Will furnish all we ought to ask;
Room to deny ourselves; a road
To bring us daily nearer God.
6. Only, O Lord, in Thy dear love
Fit us for perfect rest above,
And help us, this and every day,
To live more nearly as we pray.
