一 耶穌要來獎賞祂的僕人，或早或晚時不定；
會否祂來正逢我們堅忍，我們的燈修光明？
（副） 我能否說，我是已經準備，
準備坦然見主面？
會否祂來正逢我仍不睡，
仍然等候，直至祂顯現？
二 若祂在一清晨回來結算，一一指名傳我們，
我們各人要將銀子交還，祂能否說好，僕人？
三 主的委托，我們是否忠心？我們是否盡所能？
我們裏面若無指責聲音，我們就必得高升。
四 福哉人也！主來正逢儆醒，就必與祂同作王；
當祂再臨，或夜半或天明，是否正逢我瞭望？

4. Blessed are those whom the Lord finds watching,
In His glory they shall share;
If He shall come at the dawn or mid-night,
Will He find us watching there?
